[bluetooth-dev] PPP connection in latest stack release (2001, 0108)

Dear Axis Support / Axis Forum Readers,

We are attempting to use the latest Axis stack release (8 Jan 2001,
20010108) to set a PPP connection over RFCOMM, with no success. The latest
version we had success with was 0814 (14 Aug 2000, 20000814). Refer to my
previous posting dated Dec 20, 2000, and subsequent responses.

The rf_conn <peer BD_ADDR> <src ch =1> <line> command seems to succeed in
establishing an RFCOMM peer-to-peer connection, over which you can send
data, eg using rf_send. However, attempting to start PPP from the command
line does not suceed. It looks like the PPP "options" file is not read, and
even if specified in the command line (eg "-d local_IP_address -D
remote_IP_address) they seem to be disregarded.

I would appreciate help regarding the capabilities of the current release
(eg, does it support PPP connections?), and how to get around the problem
above, if at all possible. We could not find help in the README file.

Some information included below.

Best regards,
