You might have better luck if you use sdp_user on both the client and 
server sides (that is...if you want to
use the stack in user mode).  In user mode, SDP communicates with the 
stack with /tmp/sdp_sock.
The /proc file system is only created by bt.o (when using the stack in 
kernel mode).
