RE: [bluetooth-dev] Running a simulation on one computer

Hello,

The changes in the 20010108 version don't allow another version to be run on
the same machine. See the code near beginning of main fnc in btd.c. I
added an attempt to start a second copy if the btd.pid file is already in
use, using a btd1.pid file.

Once you've done that you'll find that it still does not work. After I
modified the code to replace all send_cmd_block with send_cmd, when running
in user mode, it seems to work.

BTW: The 20001115 version of the stack does not require modification to
work in --unixsock mode.

Cheers

Subject: [bluetooth-dev] Running a simulation on one computer

Hi !

I try to run the stack on one computer over a unix socket (--unistack) in
the user mode. But when I try to start the client after starting the server,
I get a message that a btd is runing. Who can help me ?

Thanks,
J.Löbbert
