Re: [bluetooth-dev] Re: ppp -> HANGS!!!!

Hi
 I am trying to establish ppp connection b/w 2 linux boxes runnin stack
over emulation mode via a null modem connection, 20001115 stack

The client reports
unning PPPD
Using interface ppp0
Connect: ppp0 <--> /dev/pts/6
sent [LCP ConfReq id=0x1 <asyncmap 0x0> <magic 0x12c2ec8d> <pcomp> <accomp>]
BT SYS: ERROR :rfcomm_send_data: DLCI 2 not connected
error
sent [LCP ConfReq id=0x1 <asyncmap 0x0> <magic 0x12c2ec8d> <pcomp> <accomp>]
BT SYS: ERROR :rfcomm_send_data: DLCI 2 not connected
error

sent [LCP ConfReq id=0x1 <asyncmap 0x0> <magic 0x12c2ec8d> <pcomp> <accomp>]
BT SYS: ERROR :rfcomm_send_data: DLCI 2 not connected

after I issue ppp connection

on the server I used
rf_conn 11:22...66 0
rf_conn 11:22...66 1
rf_conn 11:22...66 2
and then issued ppp command it seays
Using interface ppp0
Connect: ppp0 <--> /dev/pts/0

Am I missing something.........both mcs report got response for

*->First, in order for the ppp to work, you need to connect the rfcomm first.
*->However, for the 20001115 version of the stack, the "con" command is
*->disabled. So, what you can do is to use the userstack ie."btduser" with the
*->parameters same as "btd". Then additional menu will appear and you can use
*->"rf_conn" to connect up both server channel 0 and 1. Channel 0 is for
*->signalling and channel 1 is for data. Then you can start ppp on both machine
*->and it should connect. I previously has posted a summary of what I have
*->managed to test the stack with Null Modem Emulation. Attached for your
*->reference, hope it helps.
