This only works if you have write access to the openbt project.

Try the following for anonymous access:

cvs -d:pserver:anonymous@xxxxxxx.net:/cvsroot/openbt login 
cvs -z3 -d:pserver:anonymous@xxxxxxx.net:/cvsroot/openbt co all
