The documentation is outdated as to the current code. There is
now a check that you do not run two simultaneous btd processes
on the same machine. This prevents problems with two different
processes trying to setup the hardware. However, this also
affects btduser which means that you cannot currently have two
btduser running on the same machine. You could remove the check
for the btd.pid file early in btd.c:main() if you want to try
with two btduser processes on the same machine.

Provide a backtrace using gdb to show where the problem occurred.
Also tell exactly what version of the code you are using (CVS
version is preferred as the bug is hopefully already fixed in
the latest code otherwise).
