Unfortunately, I cannot see what is wrong with that.

Go to your /work/openbt/apps/bluetooth/btd diectory.
Try the following commands, and report any success/failure:

cc btd.c -o btd
cc -Wall -O0 -g -DHAVE_READLINE_READLINE btd.c  -lreadline -ltermcap -o btd
cc -Wall -O0 -g -MD btd.c -o btd
cc -v -Wall -O0 -g -DHAVE_READLINE_READLINE -I/work/openbt/hroot/include -MD btd.c -lreadline -ltermcap -o btd
