From your information of usbview, one point should be noted: your CSR
doesn't show up as a Bluetooth device, which should have a device class of
0xE0. And your firmware is pretty old, revision 0.01. I guess you insmod
bluetooth.o by yourself. But what I experienced is that, once I compiled it
as a module with the kernel. It is automatically loaded right after I
plugged in the CSR module.
For more information, I am using Red Hat 7.1 and Axis 0.0.6 together with
Greg's patched bluetooth.c version 0.12. Greg's patch seems solved the
"cmd_timeout" problem. I can read the bluetooth address and inquire other
bluetooth devices. But I haven't tried to make a connection for I've worn
off after a whole day's struggling. I've gone through all the mails
concerning this issue.
