Before your write(), try:

   {
     perror("tcgetattr");
     exit(1);
   }
   t.c_iflag &= ~IXON;
   t.c_iflag &= ~IXOFF;
   if(tcsetattr(fd, TCSANOW, &t) < 0)
   {
     perror("tcsetattr");
     exit(1);
   }
}
