[bluetooth-dev] Problems when using btdm and ppp

Hello,

I am using Openbt_0_0_8 on RedHat Kernel 2.4.7.

I had started pppd using the following command "btdm -m 0" in the
directory "apps/bluetooth/experimental". We are using the following
option files in "/etc/ppp/"

Server side:
/etc/ppp/options.ttyBT0:
noauth nodeflate nobsdcomp lock
mtu 256
debug
local
silent
10.0.0.1:10.0.0.2

Client side:
/etc/ppp/options.ttyBT0:
noauth nodeflate nobsdcomp lock
mtu256
debug
local

after starting btdm on both sides, I connected the two devices using
"btcon" and the following log messages are displayed:

Feb 4 02:46:17 h9715942 pppd[1946]: pppd 2.4.1 started by root, uid 0
Feb 4 02:46:17 h9715942 kernel: BT (driver) bt_open: Line 0

Feb 4 02:48:57 h9715942 gconfd (root-1242): 19 items remain in the cache
after cleaning already-synced items older than 300 seconds

then pppd just stopped there and the ifconfig report didn't show any
information related to ppp. I would like to ask if anyone using this
Openbt stack had successfully set up a ppp connection between 2 bluetooth
devices and run the ping program on top of it?

What is the problem in my set up process?

Thanks in advance.

Best Regards,
Leanne Chan
