JFFS undelete/undo feature?

Since JFFS is a journaling it should be possible/fairly easy to add an
"undelete" or "undo" utility, wouldn't it?

I came to think of this when I forgot to change the name when I edited a
file
on my Developer board the other day... :-)

Such a utility would have to access the file system  on a low level a guess,
is there a "standard" way of doing that kind of things?

Does anyone else think that such a utility would be nice?
