flash > 2MB

How do I build a kernel/romfs for an 8mb flash chip?

I tried 'boot_elinux -F -s 8388608'
but it doesn't seem to have worked.

Currently the only indication that it isn't working is that we can't create
a database any larger than we
could on the developers board.

Is there a freespace utility (df) or something to indicate freespace in the
/proc directory?

We use the CIF flash.c drivers. (version 1.58 for
.../elinux/drivers/block/flash.c and version 1.17 for .../e100boot/cbl)
