I have attached a modified kernel config. Please notify me about any
other installation problem you have with this patch.

Yes, I was about to tell you this but Johan beat me to it.
After I have tested this I will send an updated kernel
config to this list. If no other complaints about
installation problems has been received within a few
days I will update the .tgz file on the developer web.

The supplied kernelconfig doesn't support using ktest (booting from RAM).
Make sure the following config is set to enable that:

Do it from:
Memory Technology Devices (MTD)  -->
Self-contained MTD device drivers -->
Enable Test driver using RAM 
Set device size to 0
Set the erase block size to 64
Set absolute position to 0
