I tried to use a nfs-root enabled kernel on the developer board lx. I
had to modify the kernel's setup.c to pass additional arguments. This
works, however, two problems occured:
1) With nfs-root, the kernel was unable to open an initial console. Any
ideas what could be wrong?
2) The network-scripts modify the ethernet's MAC. This makes the already
mounted NFS-filesystem unusable. Best thing would be to set the MAC in
kernel, before NFS gets mounted. Is that possible?
Best regards, Uwe
