Upgrading flash image

Hi,

I just want to duble check if I got this right:

I would like to upgrade the flash image on the fly, but I donīt want to
rewrite JFFS partition (or the rescue partiton). So I tought I would do it
like this: Download image to the board and then do cat system.img >
/dev/cflash1. And that should do it.

The only thing I donīt know is if I can use kimage for system.img.

Do you think this will work. (And do you think that IDs - HWID, JFFSID - will
make any problems)
