You didn't say how you tried to compile, but from the
include-path I guess you left out the "-mlinux" option.
You can also upgrade to latest devboard_82 sources and use
cris-dist-1.54 (recommended anyway), then use
cris-axis-linux-gnu-gcc to compile and you don't have to
remember it. That, or use the existing apps/ framework, as
mentioned by others.
