Strange File system

Hi All,

Here is one ls listing that I have on my Axis 83 Box (MCM 2+8).

[root@DemoBox /DA_Root]279# ls -l
drwxr-xr-x 1 root root 0 Sep 16 22:57 Cmp
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 261249 Sep 16 23:06
Communication.log
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 45064 Sep 16 22:57 Compress.log
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 4393 Sep 16 16:53 DA_Config.xml
drwxr-xr-x 1 root root 0 Sep 16 23:05 Data
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 20 Sep 8 22:30
DefinedEventLevel.cfg
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 354 Sep 8 21:35 EventLevel.cfg
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 883925 Sep 16 23:06 FileWriter.log
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 811008 Sep 16 23:05
HandleMessageQ.log
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 4065758 Sep 16 23:06 SNPEvents.log
-rwxr-xr-x 1 root root 129142 Sep 16 15:27 da
[root@DemoBox /DA_Root]279#

If you see, the file named SNPEvents.log, it shows approx 4 MB. As far
as my knowledge, the /etc/flash partition is of only 2 MB.

Also here is the output of df

Filesystem 1k-blocks Used Available Use% Mounted on
rootfs 9496 9496 0 100% /
/dev/flash3 9496 9496 0 100% /
/dev/flash2 2688 2024 664 75% /mnt/flash
tmpfs 7144 96 7048 1% /var

Can anybody explain this to me ???

Regards,

Alok.
