JFFS2 problem

Hi all,
I am porting Linux on Assabet board. When I tried booting in JFFS,when I ran df I got the no.of 1k blocks as 5120 though I had reserved 6 MB in the mtd partition. This was due to the 4 sectors allocated for the garbage collection. In jffs2 the same df command is showing me the no.of 1k blocks as 6144.And the no.of used blocks as 3200 blocks though the size of my jffs2 image was only 1.85 MB. This will occupy 8 sectors in the flash. Is the garbage collection space part of the the used blocks here
in JFFS2?If so then why only 4 sectors and 128 KB has been allocated to the garbage collection.

I am getting some messages when I am using jffs2(the latest one from CVS) in the boot up
