Well, that was a fun week.  From looking at
drivers/mtd/chips/amd_flash.c, i can tell that theoretically some chips
have smaller erasesizes.  Maybe i can find another test board with one
of those flash chips somewhere.

Can anyone recommend anything?  "implement a flash filesystem that can
be dynamically altered on a uClinux/coldfire based board" is the
current goal.
