JFFS2 powerfail situations

Suppose that power fails during a (relatively small) write in the middle of a
large file on JFFS2.

Ideally, the last write should be either completed or rolled back, so that the
file remains valid.
But I guess that's not the case.

Is there a chance that parts of the file other that the area being written to
get corrupted as well?

If only the area being written to can end up corrupted, keeping a transaction
file in userspace will be allright. Just do the same write again.

Regards,

Pieter
