Probloem mounting mtd with jffs2



Dear All,
mounting mtdblock with jffs2 fails says not found magic number for jffs2
filesystem.Does it mean that i have to create jffs2 fs on mtdblock2, before
mount.It also syas in some place Old bitmask found at location 0xxxxxx.At
the end it says faild to mount to mtdblock.Please find the info pasted
bellow.I use montavista linux corss compilting evironment for arm xscale
architecture.
I use mvl 2.4.18 kernel.Please let me know how to mount to the mtd partion.
